Last Updated: January 15, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is designed to protect SoTech Studio Limited ("SoTech"), their employees, customers and other partners from harm caused by the misuse of IT systems and data. Misuse includes both deliberate and inadvertent actions.

Your use of our site means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this AUP, which supplement the Agreement. For the purposes of this AUP, "the Agreement" refers to the Terms of Service or any other contractual agreement between you and SoTech governing your use of our services.

Users' access to SoTech's IT systems and the Software is controlled using email addresses and passwords. All email addresses and passwords are to be uniquely assigned to named Authorised Users. For the purposes of this AUP, "Authorised Users" are individuals who have been granted specific access rights to SoTech's IT systems and Software by SoTech. • leave their user accounts logged in at an unattended and unlocked computer
  • use someone else's user ID and password to access the Software and/or SoTech's IT systems
  • leave their password unprotected (for example writing it down).
  • perform any unauthorised changes to the Software and/or SoTech's IT systems or information
  • attempt to access data that they are not authorised to use or access
  • exceed the limits of their authorisation or specific business need to interrogate the system or data
  • connect any non-SoTech authorised device to the SoTech network or IT systems
  • store SoTech data on any non-authorised SoTech equipment
  • give or transfer SoTech data or software to any outside person or organisation without the authority of SoTech
  • line managers must ensure that Authorised Users are given clear direction on the extent and limits of their authority with regard to IT systems and data

Authorised Users must at all times guard against the risk of malware (e.g., viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits, worms, backdoors) being imported into SoTech's systems by whatever means and must report any actual or suspected malware infection immediately.

  • not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:
    • any part of our software
    • any equipment or network on which our site is stored;
    • any software used in the provision of our site; or

The following restrictions apply to any and all material that Authorised Users contribute to our Software ("Contributions"), including but not limited to data, text, images, and other materials input into the software, as well as any interactive services associated with it:

Monitoring and filtering

IT system logging will take place where appropriate, and investigations will be commenced where reasonable suspicion exists of a breach of this or any other policy. SoTech has the right (under certain conditions) to monitor activity on its systems in order to ensure systems security and effective operation, and to protect against misuse. All breaches of information security policies will be investigated. SoTech will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this AUP. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
